TEAM KRISP fm

Nic Dacre

Nic Dacre - Station Manager

EMAIL: manager@krispfm.com
"As the station manager for Krisp fm, it's my job to make sure that everyone works well as a team and to represent our listeners through our programs. I ensure that all aspects of the station are fully working and reliable so that all the krisp fm staff from presenters, DJ's to writers can work effectively.
Although my duties as the station manager are tested during our annual transmission period, the rest of my time is spent on
being the full time webmaster for the radio station, this is an opportunity for our listeners to communicate with Krisp and explore what the station has to offer.
As you are aware a lot of effort has gone into expanding Krisp on the Internet, exploring new techniques and using some of the latest technology to bring you the best Internet facilities available on our site.
All our staff work on a purely voluntary basis, but the atmosphere and interest generated by our listeners are extremely rewarding for all.
Krisp fm is still in it's infancy, so we are always striving to identify some of the most common problems. If you have any suggestions about the station, or would like to get involved feel free to email me.
Remeber you make Krisp fm what it is, keep on listening." Nic

Chris Addison - Studio Manager

EMAIL: topboy@krispfm.com
"Taking on the job of studio manager I've given myself the responsibility of making sure that everything you
hear on Krisp is top quality. My main responsibility is to make sure all the shows are run properly and we don't end up sounding like an unprofessional 'student radio station', cos were not!
Over the past four years Krisp has been maturing in age. This year were coming at you with a whole different angle. Were on the net so now the Krisp massive is world wide, also the schedule has been extended and were transmitting on Saturdays.
Krisp is moving with the times. The Internet is not the only other format were using. Krisp is also on the telly. Every day we'll be filmed by ECE. (Cable Channel 7)
Along with running things behind the scenes I'll still be doing what I believe I do best. Don't miss the Teefal & Tuvac breakfast show, cos it's gonna be "TREMENDOUS." Any listeners from last year will know what I'm on about. I won't be stopping there, Night Life is my other show and I'll be dropping "real" garage and other underground beats.
Being studio manager, its my arse on the line, so if you've got anything to say, good or bad don't hesitate do contact me cos I'm never to busy to listen to a listener." Chris

Giannis Argiriadis - Marketing

EMAIL: marketing@krispfm.com
"I am responsible for dealing with the marketing aspect of the radio station which means contacting sponsors, designing logos and deciding about how the promotional material of Krisp Fm will look like. I have to find sponsors that will not only offer the essential financial help to the station but that will also comply with the youthful and ambitious image of Krisp Fm.
As it is known, Krisp Fm is a non-profit making organisation since we all do this for on a voluntary basis. However the real life experiences we get daily will prove to be of vital importance for our careers within the media industry.
To go back to the marketing issue, every product has to be visually stimulating since it aims to be part of the market. Krisp Fm is developing it's identity daily and we all hope that what you will see and hear us from the 2nd of May until the 25th of May hopefully will not let you down. Keep on surfing!
If you are interested in sponsoring Krisp Fm in any way you can contact me through my email address." Giannis

Valerie Manson - Public Relations

EMAIL: pr@krispfm.com
"My job at the radio station is basically what it says it is. If however you don't know what Public Relations is then let me try to explain. I have and continue to, develop new sponsorships and build awareness of Krisp fm within the different industries within the local area. I have also designed and developed the employee and sponsorship contracts which benefits all parties involved in Krisp fm.
If you feel that you would like to get involved with the radio station, please
contact me through my email address or on my mobile.
Look forward to hearing from you. Bye!
" Val

Using widely different vocals beats and samples from anything that's cool.
I'm often round peoples houses hassling them to say Krisp FM 87.7 into a mic in various stupid voices - cheers kids, u know who u r!" Jon

Andrew Bunker - Jingles Editor

EMAIL: jingles@krispfm.com
"Howdy, as the Jingle Editor at Krisp FM my job is to help create the many station and show jingles, stabs and other stuff that you will hear on Krisp during broadcast as well as ensuring that they are of the highest quality.
The CD collections of many have been combed in the never-ending search for samples, beats and general kooky stuff to use for this task.
(Shameless plug time!) I am also presenting a show on Krisp, don't forget to tune in to "The Basement" every Thursday 6-8 it'll be flippin' fantastic.
My hobbies and interests include being lazy and watching Sheffield Wednesday lose lots of games every week. If any comedians or (hahahah) someone with a serious question would like to contact me then feel free to send e-mail me to the address given above.
Cheers, UP THE OWLS!" Andrew

Sian Woodward - Support

EMAIL: support@krispfm.com
"As part of the new radio station there is a support service that is open to anyone and everyone. If there is anything you want to talk about I am here to listen, comfort and help.
I am bere because we all know that sometimes problems can't be sorted out straight away but that doesn't mean they cannot be sorted out at all. Whether your problems are with college or at home or with a relationship, anything at all, I will do my best to help with your problems.
If you are lonely I will be your friend, if you are sad I will comfort you and if you are anger I want you to share it with me.
Going through life is not easy this we all know and I am not promising that I can snap my fingers and everything will be ok because that is not what the support system is about but waht I am promising is a helping hand and that I will do everything I can to help in every possible way.
If you want a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on or an ear to bend contact me and I can be all three!" Sian

ACADEMICS

Simon Couth - Station Director

EMAIL: director@krispfm.com
"Simon Couth is the cloaked leader of Krisp fm. The ultimate force behind the scenes, the menacing inspector, the general who keeps his troops in line.
Simon is the one certainty within Krisp fm, the one individual who keeps the pace and evolution of the station going year in year out.
Simon is not to be trifled with and should only be contacted if pound signs are laid out on the deal." Ed.

Lee Howard - Technician

EMAIL: technician@krispfm.com
"Lee plays the important role of technical advisor, as well as a multitude of other tasks. You can find Lee working hard behind the scenes making sure that the systems are setup correctly and everything adheres to health and safety regulations.
Lee also provides studio training and computer software advice. If you are a DJ, presenter or would like to learn how to use the Krisp fm studio equipment Lee is the man to email, but make it short brief and to the point." Ed.
