Krisp fm is a member of the SRA
(student radio association) and receives
a sustaining service from SBN
(student broadcast network).
The Student Radio Association
is the national representative body
for student radio in the UK. It works
to promote, encourage, support and
develop student radio in the ways
that its members wish. Members meet
up 3 times a year at general meetings
to direct their activities.
The Association provides a national
voice for student radio whether it
be to the music industry or the government
but also works with stations on a
local level through the Area
Reps
and the Regional Officers for Scotland
and Wales. The SRA also works with
the International Association of Student
Television and Radio (IASTAR)
on European issues.
The SRA is also linked with The Radio Academy
who provide support to the organisation.
Members of the SRA are also by default
members of The Radio Academy. The
Radio Academy also offer postgraduate
membership
for those in between studying and
working.
for the duration it's on air there
